Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled Easy Coins

This page details the complete Track Tier chart in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, which shows how many Wumpa Coins you can earn based on which track you race, what place you earn, and whether you're playing online or offline

Important Notes:

  • You can earn more Wumpa Coins by playing Online rather than offline.
  • There is a daily "cooldown" where, after half an hour of on-track racing time, the Bonus multiplier disappears. The multiplier returns after the next Pit Stop refresh at 12:00am GMT.

Track Ratings and Multipliers

Each track in the game has a core Track Rating, based on the number of Wumpa Coins you get for coming in first place while offline: all other earnings are based off this core number. The longer, more complex a track is, the higher the rating it'll have. Battle Arenas all have the same rating: 20.

The number of Wumpa Coins you get after a race is over will be a percentage of the Track Rating, with lower placings getting lower percentages. First Place gets 100%, Second gets 90%, Third gets 85%, and Fourth through Eighth gets 60%. These values hold true even if you get a DNF, unless you quit out of the race.

Bonus Multipliers

These numbers can be affected by up to two Bonus multipliers. The first is the Daily Bonus, which multiplies your Wumpa Coins by 5x for your first 30 minutes of on-track racing time every day. After this time is up, the Daily Bonus will come back after the Pit Stop refresh at 12:00am GMT (check the Pit Stop menu for how much time there is until the next refresh).

The second bonus is the Weekend Bonus, which multiplies your Wumpa Coin earnings by 2x on Friday, Saturday and Sunday GMT time. Thus you can stack your Daily Bonus and your Weekend Bonus to get a total of 10x!

The final note is that if you're playing Relic Race or Time Trial modes, your Wumpa Coin earnings are based on where your time places on your Local high score board.

Knowing this list is important so you can select (offline) or vote for (online) the track with the highest rating to earn Wumpa Coins faster.

Wumpa Coins can be used to buy cosmetic items from the Pit Stop.

Which Track is Best for Farming Wumpa Coins?

The information in this section was made possible thanks to TheBandicoot on Reddit.

If you're grinding Wumpa Coins, both during weekends or just offline, you'll want to pick the right track to do it on for best results. You'll want to pick a track that has the best ratio between its Wumpa Coin Rating and how fast you can complete laps around it. The latter is particularly important during the weekend Wumpa Time as you only have 30 minutes of on-track time for the 10x multiplier.

At first glance, you might pick Electron Avenue or Tiny Arena because they have the highest Rating. However these actually are not the best choices because of their sheer length, and in the case of Tiny Arena there's no way to get Blue Turbos to really rocket around the track.

The Best Tracks to Farm Wumpa Coins

For most players, the first option you should consider is Android Alley. This track is relatively simple once you get the timing of the mag train and sweeper bots down, and the wide open layout and almost obstacle-free track design make it very good for relaxed farming once you get the hang of it.

Turbo Track can also be really effective if you can utilize the Blue Turbos and use Brake Slides in the triple hairpin section. Speed Characters work really well here as it's much easier to maintain Blue Turbos with them. Don't forget that you can cut through the grass on the turns just before and just after the triple hairpin.

Expert racers may want to also look at Hyper Spaceway, as it has the best Wumpa Coin / Race Time ratio. You can get Blue Turbo really early on and take the shortcut with ease, and while you'll often lose it in the Figure 8 section, the Turbo Pad Ramp just after it gives you Blue Turbo again. However the rocky straight with the giant orange lasers is a bit unpredictable, making it easy to get hit and lose the Blue Turbo.
